About Apostle Dr. Austin J. de Bourg
Apostle Dr. Austin J. de Bourg is the Founder of the Austin de Bourg Foundation and Senior Pastor of Trinidad Christian Center (TCC) in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, founded in 1980. For the past 35 years he has dedicated his life to ministry and preaching the Gospel and restoring lost biblical truths.
In addition to leading his foundation and TCC, he is an international speaker, and the author of seventeen books including Insights into the Mystery of the Trinity, Misplaced Righteousness, with two book series Letters to the Church, and Know the Truth.

The broad scope of the work we engage in at the ADB Foundation for Human Advancement facilitates the fulfilment of our multifaceted mission:
“To provide opportunities worldwide for human advancement through the meeting of basic human needs, the elimination of poverty & human suffering, and greater access to education, training & employment.”
+ Currently, the categories of assistance we provide are in the form of:
• Scholarship grants
• Career exploration via on-the-job training
• Start-up of sustainable projects that generate employment and meet needs such as food and housing (provision of building material and labour)
• Loan of capital to start new businesses
• Help to seek medical attention
+ The Foundation has the following additional objectives:
• To provide homes and other facilities for the aged
• To establish and maintain kindergarten, primary, secondary, training, vocational and rehabilitation schools for socially challenged children, youths and adults
• To offer training and human development through seminars, workshops, and conferences; and to publish (printed) literature in support of such training and human development.

Our Story.
The story of Austin de Bourg Foundation for Human Advancement surrounds part of the call of God on the life of Apostle Dr. Austin J. de Bourg to see people fulfill their God-given potential.
He understands his call to be a holistic one, involving every aspect of human life, because he believes that, in order to be successful, one must cater to the whole person and achieve the right balance between spirit, soul and body. Neglect of any area results in imbalance, stunted growth and the unrealised fulfilment of purpose and potential.
Over the past three and a half decades, Apostle Dr. Austin J. de Bourg has invested in people in the Caribbean region, parts of Africa, India, Austria, and North America. The longstanding success of his contributions to the lives of many underscores the value of the godly element in lasting personal transformation and human advancement.
The ADB Foundation for Human Advancement continues and expands this important and much-needed work which he has spearheaded for more than 30 years.
1980
Austin de Bourg founds the Trinidad Christian Center in order to develop the spiritual potential of the people of Trinidad and Tobago. In doing so, he pioneered the full-gospel, independent church movement in Trinidad and Tobago.
Through this movement, many persons’ lives are transformed spiritually, through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, countless healings and miracles, and lives revolutionized.
1991
The Trinidad Christian Center Children’s Home is founded: a non-profit residential facility for orphaned, abandoned, abused and neglected children between the ages of four and eighteen.
An accompanying school is established to cater specially to the children’s educational needs, within the context of their social challenges.
The Children’s Home addresses the social development of the children and steers them towards responsible thinking and living, equipping them to fit into the world when they come of age.
2005
Assist International, a charitable organization geared at alleviating poverty in some of the poorest countries, is founded. Humanitarian projects are implemented in Africa, India, Haiti and Grenada.
Assist International (Malawi) is founded to meet the physical needs of communities in the Nsanje district of the nation of Malawi, located in Southeast Africa.
A sustainable agricultural project is launched on seventy-five acres of land for the cultivation of rice, corn (maize) and beans, to benefit the people of that region.
An irrigation plant is established to aid in food production for the Nsanje Agricultural Project in Malawi.
Annual harvest now feeds the inhabitants of five villages, on an ongoing basis, including a large number of orphans and their guardians.
2013
2017
In 2017, The ADB Foundation Community Outreach Program established three (3) initiatives with the focus of meeting the needs of the families within our surrounding community in Trinidad and Tobago.
• Annual Food Drive - Feeding families in need by providing hampers of food.
• Dress for Less - An annual community outreach and fundraising event making affordable items easily accessible. The proceeds of this event go to the ADB Foundation Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to students with strong academic performance who need financial assistance.
• ABD Foundation Scholarship Fund - Providing scholarships to students with strong academic performance who need financial assistance.
A true father of the faith, Apostle Dr. Austin de Bourg’s worldwide ministry affects lives and brings change wherever he preaches the word of God and is considered a father to many. Thousands have been impacted by his general benevolence: his love, care, and compassion for the less privileged. He continues to influence lives and bring change wherever he goes.
